HONORARY INSPECTOR FINED. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, September 27. An honorary inspector of fisheries, ±l. C. Wheeler, was fined £2 and costs for taking more than 50 toheroas at Munwai Beach on July 21. He was also convicted and discharged for having m his possession toheroa shells wincii were less than three inches long. Mr Meredith, of the Crown Law Office, replying to- Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., said that the defendant was a farmer, and had been asked to return his warrant as an honorary inspector and' also as a Justice of the Peace.
