MINIATURE RIFLES.
THE STAVELEY CLUB. At the weekly shoot of the Staveley Miniature Rifle Club there was a very large .attendance, and the second shoot and finals of the trophy presented by Mr J. McElhinney produced some very keen shooting. The senior hotty button was won by G. Nell with 69, and the junior by B. Flynn, jun., with 57. The leading scores were: — Seniors —G. Nell 69, N. Hadler 67, M. Bruce 67, J. Johnstone 67, R. Andrews 65, J. Carney 65, H. Gundry 64, N. Watson 64, W. G. Burgess 63. W. Logan 63, 1). Grieve 63. 65, E. Johnstone 63. E. Hart 63, ft. Ferguson 63, A. Lorgellv 62, R. Green 62, 66, C. Smith 62, I. Hart 62, F. Cutler 62, 64, P. Boucher 60.
Juniors —B. Flynn 57, A. Goldsmith 56, I. Lion ,51, D. Burgess 47, A. Lion 44, M. Flynn 27. In the shoot for the trophy over two shoots, 16 remained in the shoot-off. After the first shoot-off only two remained—W. Logan 6*4 (6) and N. Hadler 69 beat N. Hadler 67 (scr).
