' THE LYNNFORD CLUB. The following were the scores at the weekly shoot of the Lynnford Miniature Rifle Club, when a competition was fired for a trophy donated by Mr C. Baurle:—N. Bauerle (scr) 80, C. Johnston (8) 77, R. Bennett (10) 71, H. Painter (11) 75, f. Moyinhan (11) 60. The shoot-off resulted: —R. Johnston (8) 75, 79, 75, 76, 1; J. Bishop (2) 79, 78, 78, 77, 2; R. Bennett (10) 74, 75, 68, 3. The grand aggregate cup has been won by N. Bauerle with a score of 1819 over the 23 shoots. The runner-up’s cup was won by C. Dell with 1758. There was keen competition for the runner-up’s cup, O. Dell and L. Dell being equal with one shoot to be fired. O. Dell scored 77 and L. Dell 76. AD F. Curtis’s trophy was won by N. Bauerle, who also won the club’s miniature cup that goes with the grand aggregate cup. The season will conclude next week, when a competition will be held for a trophy given by the patron (Mr J. VV. Dell)," followed by the annual presentation of trophies on Saturday, October 5.
