MANCHESTER ON CASUALTY LIST THE PROSPECTS AGAINST WALES (Received This Day, 1.40 p.m.) LONDON, September 24. Manchester is the latest casualty in the All Blacks’ team. He is suffering from a muscle in. the leg, and probably will rest for several games. fPage and Mahoney are to remain at Bradford for a week, being unable to walk. Hadley went direct to Newport from Plymouth, though he will not be available for two or three weeks. He greeted his comrades at-the station. The “Daily Mail’ ’ >considers that the All Blacks should not have great difficulty in beating Wales, as the latter’s lack of skill and science and the Welsh team are a law unto themselves. Monmouthshire’s strength lies in strong forwards,, loose play upsetting the normal teamwork of finished sides. If the forwards are able to dictate the tactics they may be able to extend the New Zealanders. The problem will be reversed at Swansea, where the Welsh backs are the strongest.
