. WILD BOUT IN SYDNEY. SPECTATOR, REFEREE AND SECONDS. SYDNEY, September 22. At the Leichhardt Stadium the wrestling became even wilder than usual at the conclusion, last night, ot the return bout between Lunch and Kruskamp. Before the fifth round each had gained a fell. Lunch then set about twisting Kruskamp’s head across the middle of a rope, whereupon the wrestler, Johnnie Woods, ct eountiyman of Kruskamp, sprang from the ringside and attacked Lurich. woods, Lurich, Kruskamp, the referee and the seconds promptly became engaged in a wild melee, in which Woods, in ins excitement, struck Kruskamp, who M to the floor. Woods was then hustled out of the ring, and within a moment Lurich had. obtained the deciding fall. Lurich and Kruskamp again came to blows. Eventually they were escorted by the police to their dressing rooms.
WALKER AND DUALA DRAW. WELLINGTON, September 22. Much showmanshiup marked the wrestling bout on Saturday night between George Walker and Tigei Duala both of whom in the fifth round fell over the ropes and hit the floor with sufficient force to keep them out of action, until the referee announced a draw. Before that Walker gained a fall with a Boston crab, and had submitted to one ot Duala’s novel toelocks.
McCREADY BEATS CATALINQ. NEW PLYMOUTH, .September 22. Earl MeCready defeated Tony Catalinc by one fall in the eighth round before a good house last night, ihc bout provided good entertainment, but it seemed all through that McCieady was the better man, and could have trained a fall, earlier. The rail was gained with a flying body scissors.
