WRESTLING.
WADE BEATS LABRIOLA. TIMARU, September 20.. In a bout which went the full distance to-night, Glenn Wade beat Leon Labriola by a fall in the fifth round, secured with a Boston crab. Wade delighted the crowd with his smart display. Labriola relied on chancery holds and gruelling body scissors, with which he inflicted severe punishment. He seemed likely to obtain an equalising fall in the last round, but Wade managed to hold out till the final gong.
