BRITISH RECORD NOT BROKEN. (United Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, August 28. At the competitinos of the British Gliding Association attempts were made on • the British long-distance gliding record of 95 miles. The record remained unbroken, but some fine performances were given, including a flight by J. C. N'eilan of 61 miles. Neilan is the holder of the British aeroplane endurance record. —British Official Wireless.
