CHEAPER RATES. IN BRITAIN.

LONDON, August 28. In the 10 weeks since the Post Office made a reduction in inland telegraph charges, 2,128,000 more telegrams have been dispatched than in the corresponding period last year, an increase of 29.4 per cent.—British Official Wireless.
