The candidates have, been on a tour of the North Island with Ratana as a preliminary to the campaign.

A deputation of electors in the Dunedin South electorate waited on Mr T. K. S. Sidey this morning, requesting him to allow hi£ name to be considered for that seat in the National interests. Mr Sidey promised to give his decision at an early date.
