THE MAORI CONSTITUENCIES.
RATANA CANDIDATES. (Per Press Association.) GISBORNE, This Day. It was reported at, a recent Maori gathering at Nuhaka that Ratana candidates will contest all four Maori seats at the forthcoming general elections. The candidates have, been on a tour of the North Island with Ratana as a preliminary to the campaign.
DUNEDIN SOUTH' SEAT
MR T. K. S. STDEY APPROACHED
DUNEDIN, This Day
A deputation of electors in the Dunedin South electorate waited on Mr T. K. S. Sidey this morning, requesting him to allow hi£ name to be considered for that seat in the National interests. Mr Sidey promised to give his decision at an early date.
