LOGS THROWN OVERBOARD

WELLINGTON, July 29

The Director-General of the Post Office has received a message from the Hoegh Trader, which is aground on Horseshoe Reef, in the Fiji group, stating that she is throwing her deck cargo of logs overboard. The logs will he dangerous to navigation. Shipping is also requested to keep a shark lookout for heavy timber jettisoned from the stranded vessel in the vicinity of Horseshoe Reef.
