The Postal, Telegraph and Cable Corporation has gone into voluntary liquidation, and has requested the Court for authority to reorganise the company under the Federal > Bankruptcy Act. It claimed inability to meet 1,270,000 dollars' interest due on bonds on July 1. Assets are listed at 126,000,000 dollars, with an operating deficit in 1984 of 1,590,000 dollars. This corporation shares with the Western Union practically all communications business in America, in addition to operating aai extensive international cable system.
