Signor Gayda, writing in U;e "Giornale d'ltalia," declares that if the Suez Canal and the Straits of Gibraltar could be closed by the League of Nations in order to impose sanctions, they must be internationalised. Any nation would consider the closing of the Suez Canal as an explicit act of hostility deserving special consideration.
