STRIKE SPREADS.
AMERICAN MOTOR INDUSTRY. THREE BIG WORKS IDLE. (United' Piess Association— Copyright.) i NEW YORK, April 30. The strike at the Toledo (Ohio) works of the' Chevrolet Motor Company spread to the company's .plant at Cincinatti to-day, 2200 additional men striking. The strike has forced the Fisher body works at Cleveland to close, throwing 0000 menout of work.
On April 23 more than 2000 employees in the Chevrolet Toledo plant walked out, after the collapse of negotiations with executives of the General Motors Company. While wages and conditions are: in dispute, the real.bone of contention is the demand of ' the union for 90 per cent r Representation among Chevrolet employees. , ;,
