JEWISH BAN IN SOUTH AFRICA. BARTER SYSTEM AFFECTED. (United Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, April 30.
It is reported that Germany’s barter scheme with ; South Africa has not been, as successful as was anticipated. There are in South Africa a considerable number of Jewish business men, especially connected with mining, and as retaliation against Herr Hitler s treatment of their co-religionists they are refusing to take German goods.
