The Manchester correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph says that the new Australian duties on certain cotton goods will operate to-morrow, unless there is a last-minute change of viewpoint. Traders are greatly disappointed that a fresh extension of time has not been granted till the matter has been discussed with the Australian Ministers during their visit here.
