INVITATION ACCEPTED
THE REV. ANGUS McBEAN. ASHBURTON METHODIST CIRCUIT MINISTRY OPENS NEXT YEAR. The Rev. Angus Mcßean, of Mount Albert, Auckland, has accepted the invitation of the officials of the Ashburton Methodist Circuit to become superintendent minister of the circuit next year. As the Rev. G. B>. Hinton, who will next April have been stationed in Ashburton for five years, has intimated that he will leave the circuit in 1936, a committee was set up at the last quarterly, meeting to arrange for a ministerial supply. This committee h»3 been in touch with Mr Mcßean, who is spending three months' holiday in Australia, and he has cabled his acceptance of the invitation. Entering the ministry of the Methodist Church in 1904, Mr Mcßean, who is an Australian, has been in charge of two circuits in Christchurch and of the Aromoho Circuit in Wanganui. He has laboured for the last six years at Mount Albert, and previous to thab appointment he was seven years in Invercargill. Mr Mcßean will not open his minitry in Ashburton until April, 1936.
