THE RAKAIA CLUB. At a meeting of the Rakaia Club' Mr A. Doig presided, audi there was a good attendance. The balance-sheet of the opening ball, which showed a credit balance of £2 6s, was considered very satisfactory. Messrs L. L. Street, R. Breach and

H. Evans were elected a sub-commit-tee to draw up rules for the primary schools' jubilee cup tournament.
