Dr. N. E. H. Fulton has returned from the South, where he spent his holiday. Mr A. R. Chapman, of the Ashburton Telephone Exchange, has been transferred to the mail room department of the Christchureh Post Office. Miss M. G. Boyle, an attendant at the Ashburton Telephone Exchange, has-received notice of transfer on promotion to the position of toll clerk at Palmerston North. Motions of sympathy with Mr F. W. Watt (patron) and. Mr M. Baker (vicepresident) in their ilhiess were passed l at the annual meeting of the Micl-Can-terbury Men's Hockey Sub-Association on Saturday evening.
