HONEYMOON JOURNEY
THE KENTS LEAVE JAMAICA. (United Press Association —Copyright). LONDON, March 16. The Duke and Duchess of Kent concluded their stay in Jamaica yesterday and left by special aeroplane for Nassau. They received a continuous ovation on a six-mile drive from the Governor’s house to the air base, and as their aeroplane took off the sloop Scarborough fired a Royal salute. The Duke requested the Governor (Sir Edward Denham) to convey to the people of Jamaica the appreciation ot himself and the Duchess for their enjoyable four weeks’ stay in the island. The Duke of Gloucester is remaining at Jamaica for the present.— British Official Wireless.
