Queen Alexandrine of Denmark who is visiting Stockholm in connection with the Crown Prince’s engagement, became suddenly ill) necessitating aii immediate internal operation. King Christian hastening to her bedside from Copenhagen, travelled to Malmoe by torpedoe boat and from there by special train which arrived three minutes ahead of schedule, creating a speed record for the 375 miles.
