NOT AN OFFICE FOR LAYMEN. (Per Preps Association). WELLINGTON, This Day. At the annual meeting of the Wellington District Law Society, Mr W. H. Cunningham was elected president. A motion was carried unanimously expressing the opinion of the society that the office of Attorney-General should not he held by a layman. It was unanimously decided to ask the New Zealand Society to reinstate the annual conference of the legal profession.
