NO SITTING TO-DAY.
BILL NOT READY FOR HOUSE. (Special to the <'Guardian.") WELLINGTON, March 7. Parliament will not sit to-morrow. In making that announcement in the House of Representatives date to-night, the Prime Minister (the Bt. Hon. G. W Forbes) explained that the complementary, measure to the Mortgage Corporation Bill was not ready, and because of this the Government had decided to ask for an adjournment until Tuesday afternoon. . . Mr Forbes added that in addition to the Bill dealing with the rehabilitation of the farming industry being a very complicated measure, a member of the law drafting staff had ad to enter hospital to undergo an operation. Thau had thrown a great deal of extra work on the chief law draftsman (Mr J. Christie). The Bill was a very difficult one, and had taken longer to prepare than had been anticipated. He had been assured, however, —at it would \>e ready for introduction to the House oh Tuesday, when it was intended to go on with it.
