ADVERSE BALANCE.
GERMANY’S OVERSEAS TRADE. WORST FOR SEVEN YEARS. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, February 17. Germany’s imports during January increased by ’£400,000, and her exports decreased by £4,500,000, compared Avith the figures for December. The exports are the loAvest for any month since the Nazis took over control, and the adverse trade balance is the worst for the last seven years. January generally brings an increase in the adverse balance, but the size of that of last month has shocked the commercial community 7.
