A bequest of approximately £3400 has been made bv the'will of Mrs Sophie Gardner "to the Christchurch: Presbyterian Social Service Association. The amount represents one-third of Mrs Gardner's residuary estate. Mrs Gardner,, who died in September, was the widow of Mr William R. Gardner, a well-known miller in Rangiora and Christchurch. '„.'•
