THE METHVEN CLUB. The Methven Ladies' Golf Club played a Canadian foursome on the Mount Harding links for Miss O. Holmes's trophy. This was won by Mrs White and Miss E. Stone. THE RAKAIA CLUB. The August medal will be played for by the Rakaia Golf Club on Saturday. The draw is: H, A. Harrison y. F. Alexander, H. Freer v. W. L. Harrison, L. O. Oakley v. H. A. Moray Smith, S. gryant v, L. 'Cordner.. J. Langley v. 'JI A. Richards, R. A. Oakley v. J. S. Connolly, 0. 0. Holmes v. P. J. Hanrahan. A stroke competition played last Saturday was Avon by R. A. Oakley with a card of 99—30—69 A four-ball bogey will be played by the ladies on Saturday. The draw is as follows: —Mrs Cordner and Miss Ross v. Miss Muckle and Miss B. Richards; Miss Holmes and Mrs Oakley v. Miss Haslett and Mrs Richards; Miss E. Richards and Miss G. Harrison v. Irwin and Miss 0. Richards. The C grade will play a flag match: Mrs S. Connolly v.
