Reduction of milling extraction would moan that more wheat would be used in flour manufacture and, also that there would be more bran and pollard,. Naturally for Great Britain, always a heavy importer of bran and pollard, the suggestion would. be acceptable, hut J America would not be eager to increase production of by-products when she already has a very large exportable surplus.
