APPEAL ALLOWED.
MAYFIELD TRANSPORT WORK, THE CO-ORDINATION BOARD. (Special to the “ Guardian.’') CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The sitting of the Transport Coordination Board was continued yesterday, when ten appeals were listed for hearing. Sir Stephen Allen presided, with him being Messrs H. B. S. Johnstone and L. Alclerton. .Five appeals were heard, two being allowed, one was adjourned to Nelson, two were withdrawn, and two will he heard today, Decision was reserved in the other three eases yesterday. W. H. Fagan, of Mayfield, who was represented, by Mr P. P. J. Amodeo, appealed against the decision of the No. 8 Transport Licensing Authority and asked for the right to cart timber onto Christchurch and return with p'eti-01, kerosene, or sawmill supplies Jo St. Leonards. The appeal was allowed, appellant’s license being extended to include a route license to Christchurch for the purpose stated in the appeal.
