BODY FOUND IN LAKE.

PROMINENT MARTON FARMER. (Special to the "Guardian.") MARTON, September 12. The death occurred under tragic circumstances on Saturday of Mr Peter Henderson Dodds, a. well-known retired farmer. He had been missing from his home since mid-day on Saturday, and his body was found in a lake on his property late at night. The J ate Mr Dodds, who was 63 years of age, was in the habit of going to the lake-side to gather daffodils, for his wife, and on Saturday be set oil' with this intention. The edge of the lake is very irregular and covered with undergrowth, and it seems that the deceased must have either tripped or had a seiz.nre and fallen into the deep water.

At the inquest, before Mr F. C. Wilson, a verdict was returned that deceased was found drowned, there being no evidence to show precisely how he got into the water.
