INSURANCE FRAUDS
REVELATIONS IN BRITAIN. BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION. STATEMENT BY A PRISONER. (United Press Association—Copyright). LONDON, Septmber 13. Representatives of Scotland Yard interviewed Leopold Louis Harris, who is serving *a sentence of 14 years 5 imprisonment in connection with the destruction of businesses by, fire and fraudulent insairance claims. He revealed details of an amazing fire raising organisation such as the underwriters responsible for the recent prosecutions never suspected.
The statement follows remarkable revelations of bribery and corruption which Harris made in a confession.
The insurance companies concerned are discussing the possibility of further action. t •
