MINIATURE RIFLES.

THE METHVEN CLUB. There was a good attendance at the weekly shoot of the Methven Miniature Rifle Club, but the shooting was not of the usual high standard, and for the first time the Club Trophy was won withotit a shoot-off. The winner was A. Middleton, who registered his second win, thus winning the trophy outright. The best scores were: A. Middleton 68 (3) 70, H. Noble 69 (scr) 69, iff. Holland 68 (1) 69, W. R. Law 6o (3) 68, E. Ferguson 64 (4) 68. The Hotty Button resulted : H. Noble 68, J. Anderson 67, M. Holland 67, Q Waddington 66, W. R. Law 66, A. Middleton 64.

Shooting was commenced for a cup presented by Mr H. E. Richards.
