CLOUD OF DEPRESSION
INDICATION IN GERMANY. POSITION NOT IMPROVING. (United Press Association—Copyright). LONDON, September 12. The Berlin correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" says that though official tongues and pens are daily declaring that the clouds of depression are rapidly dispersing, the "Berliner Tageblatt' - ' shows that since the end of July shares quoted on the Bourse reveal an aggregate drop of £25,000,000. Since 1929 the total value has fallen from £825,000,000 to £350,000.000.
