(Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, September 11. A claim by Rrucc Murray, a tunnel workeiy against the Crown for £SOO damages for the loss of the index finger of bis right hand, as the result of an accident when working at the 'Fawn Flat funnel works, has been settled bv a payment to suppliant <>t £370 Us 4(1. The Chief .Justice (the lit. Hon. Sir Michael Myers) entered judgment accordingly, expressing satisfaction. C ounsel for the Crown said that the amount was exclusive of £4!) 10s Sd already paid under the Workers’ Compensation Act.
