ALLOTMENT IN BRITAIN. (United Press Association —Copyright). (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, August 4. Applications for Treasury bills to-day totalled £70,925,000. The amount allotted in bills at three months was «M 0,000,000, the average rate per cent, being 5s 4.95 d, which is a new record, compared with 6s 11.68 d last week.— British Official Wireless.
