MILITARY TRAINING.
NEW ZEALANDERS FOR CAMBERLEY.

WELLINGTON, June 18
Qualification for appointment to the staff, college at Camberley, England, has been recognised, according to cabled advice from England, in the cases of Captain C. S. J. Duff, of the Royal New Zealand Artillery, and Captain W. G. Gentry and Captain D. T. Maxwell, of the New Zealand Staff Corps. The appointment, which is made to one candidate from New Zealand annually, is for two years' training at the college. The selection of the candidate from the three qualifying will be made on a basis-of the competitive examination which was held in February.
Captain who is well known in Auckland military circles, is adjutant of the Northern Coast Artillery Group, and officer commanding the Royal New Zealand Artillery, coast cadre.
Captain Gentry,' whose headquarters are in Wellington, is adjutant of the Second Field Company Corps of New Zealand Engineers, Central Depot of the New Zealand Corps of Signallers, second composite New Zealand Army Service Corps, and Second Field Ambulance.
Captain Maxwell is adjutant of the Wellington West Coast Regiment, and area officer of Area 6a, the headquarters of which are at Wanganui.
