PUBLIC BEQUESTS.
WILL OF MR F. MEADOWCROFT.

Public bequests ultimately involving about £20,000, are made under the will of Mr Frank Meadowcroft, for 10 years a member of the "Wellington City Council. After making provision for members of the family, the will provides that subject to a certain life interest, one tenth of the residue of the estate shall be held in perpetual trust to pay the income, as follows : Three parts to the Terrace Congregational Church, Wellington, for general purposes, provided that at least one-third of the income shall bo used for the benefit of the Sunday school of the church.
Two parts to the Pastors' Provident Fund of the Congregational Union of New Zealand.
Two parts to the London Missionary Society for general purposes. Two parts to the Wellington district of the Congregational Union of New Zealand for Home Mission work in 'New Zealand.
One part to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to animals.
Subject to further life interests, the other nine-tenths of the residue is to be held in trust to pay the income for all time to tho London Missionary Society for general purposes, the bequest to be.known as the Meadowcroft bequest. The residue, subject to the bequests concerned, will probably bo nearly £20,000. The Public Trustee is the executor.
