STEVE DONOGHUE THROWN.

FATAL MOTOR ACCIDENT. (United Press Association—Copyright). LONDON, June 11. The Ascot races opened sensationally. 'Steve Don oghue was thrown heavily when Tavern dashed into the barrier at the .start of the Prince of Wales Stakes. The stewards suspended Michael Beary for the remainder of l the meeting. Beary was also thrown, though he denied "that he caused the accident by trying to beat the start. The famous trainer, Mr F. Leader, who trained Gainslaw, winner of the Ascot Gold Vase yesterday, when motoring home to Newmarket with his wife at midnight, crashed into a lorry. Both were killed.
