HOUSE CROSS-COUNTRY RACE The annual hoys’ house cross-country championshi'n of the Ashburton High School was held yesterday afternoon over the school course of four miles. The tlii oe school houses, Hogg, Tenant and Buchanan, were represented by teams of 15 boys. Hogg House gained 122 points, 10 of its team finishing in the first 18. Tennant House was second with 163 noints, and Buchanan House third with 187 points. A. Jewell (Hogg House), the first hoy home, took two seconds off his own record of 24mih 9see for the course. Y. Gabites (Tennant House), who finished second, took 24min 7 2-ssec, which was also faster than Jewell’s previous time.
