AGREEMENT SIGNED.
ANCLO-PERSIAN OIL COMPANY. THE FINANCIAL UNDERTAKING. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Dav, 8.55' a.m.) TEHERAN, May 2. The Anglo-Persian oil agreement, forecast on April 22, has been signed. The company agrees to pay royalties of 4s a ton, besides one-fifth of the net profits and arrears of £1,000,000. It undertakes to extract 5,000,000 tons annually, to engage more Persians, and to expend £IO,OOO, a year upon tlie education of Persian students of engineering. The concession runs lor 60 years.
