UNLESS ASSURED OF WORK WABNEjG TO UNEMPLOYED (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 16. A warning to unemployed against transferring their residence to another district unless assured of work is issued. In an official statement by the Unemployment Board it was stated that several of the board's certifying officers had reported that they found difficulty in placing men who reported. Many local authorities had decided that'they were responsible for finding employment only for residents of .three months', and sometimes six months' standing. The board was unable to force local authorities to provide work. It was suggested that no .married unemployed man should remove his family to another district without receiving the assurance of the certifying officer that it was possible for him to be placed.
