CANADA'S DEBTS.
HUGE SUM OWED PUBLICLY. (United Press Association —Copyright). (Received This Day, 9.10 a.m.) OTTAWA, March 14. The total public debt of Canada, including Dominion, provincial and municipal obligations, was estimated at 6,539,728,053 dollars by Mr R. H. Coates (Dominion Statistician) in evidence before the Banking and Commerce Committee of the House of Commons to-day. This included debts guaranteed by the Dominion.
