The first consignment of 10,01)0 Vic> torian and New South Wales turkeys is meeting a ready market at 101 d a pound. More axe arriving, replacing Irish, on which there is a heavy duty. The quality of the Australian birds is equal to that of Irish and foreign. There are prospects of a good market for frozen poultry during the winter.
