Mr Walter Watson has been appointed producers' representative on the Honev Control Board, according to a Gazette notice issued last night.
Mi' H.'M. Bibby. B.Agr. Sc, of Dunedin, has been appointed to the staff of the Ashburton High School in succession to Mr R. M. McGregor, who has been granted six months' leave of absence to visit Scotland.,
Mr R, A. Sherwin, B.Agr., Agricultural Instructor at the Geraldine- District High School for the past year, has been appointed an assistant organiser of the Fields Division of the Department of Agriculture, Tasmania, from a large number of applicants.

Miss B. Loy, who has been on the lecturing staff of the Wellington Training ColhV s % tlle l ast 12 years nas been appointed home science teacher at the Sydenham'Manual Training Centre (Christchurch). While in Wellington Miss Loy has taken an active interest in basketball, swimming and social service work in connection with the College, and has also been connected with the University Women's Club, where she has been on the executive for the past'three years, and also secretary of the Social Service Circle. During the past few weeks Miss Loy has been the guest of honour at many functions given to bid her farewell on her removal to Christchurch. Miss Loy, who was educated at the Ashburton Borough and High Schools, was for some years home science teacher _on the staff of the Ashburton Technical School. *
