AIRMAN'S EQUIPMENT. MARRIAGE BEFORE VENTURE. LONDON, July 19. Flares and directional wireless will he used by Mr J. A. Mollison as aids to the trans-Atlantio return flight on which he proposes to start about August 8. The flares will be detachable, and will be dropped from the wing-tips of the aeroplane. They will ignite on reaching the water and enable, the pilot to check the strength and direction of the wind and correct his course. A warning note will be sounded by wireless from Cape Race day and nightMr Mollison's directional wireless will receive the call and guide him to his destination. Mr Mollison intends to make the return Atlantic flight in the old clothes' he wore on the Australia to London and London to Cape flights. He says they are getting a bit ragged, but he rather fancies them for the greatest adventure of all.
