Only .32,000,000 acres of wheat, or 15 per cent, of the whole area sown, have been harvested, as compared with 43,000,000 acres on the same date in 1931. Soviet papers are exhorting the people, especially in the Ukraine, to hurry on with the harvest to prevent losses.
