PSYCHIC MANIFESTATIONS. ' Sounds of kisses were lieard, and a "spirit" form was seen to embrace a woman sitter at a Manchester spiritualist seance, recently, according to a London paper. The seance was arranged as a further test of the , alleged physic powers of Mrs Helen yictoria Duncan, the woman materialising medium. Two tests were held in the Manchester Central Spiritualist Church —all the sitters being strangers to the medium. Mrs Duncan was subjected to a rigorous examination, and no sooner was she settled in a specially-prepared cabinet than mysterious forms, some of them carrying lights, paraded the dimlylighted room. One of these forms, with a face heavily veiled, claimed a woman sitter as his wife and, after kissing her, apparently took her by the hand. "He gave me such a grip! I know the grip," the woman called out as the form suddenly vanished. Suddenly the woman screamed, crying out that she distinctly felt an invisible foot tread upon her shoe. Moaning was heard outside the cabinet, and the medium's who named, itself "Albert," remonstrated with the sitter for her nervousness. A little later a boy's figure appeared near the cabinet claiming another woman as his aunt. The woman offered the form a biscuit, which it took and ate a portion of it-
