GIRL'S SUICIDE
ECHO OF LINDBERGH CASE. WAITRESS FOR MRS MORROW. PRESUMED GUILTY KNOWLEDGE (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.5 a.m.) NEW YORK, June 10. A message from Englewood (New Jersey) stated that Violet Sharp, a waitress in the home of Mrs Dwight Morrow (Mrs Lindbergh's mother) committed suicide to-day by taking poison. Colonel Schwartzkopf, in a- statement, said: "The suicide of the girl confirms the suspicion of the authorities who conducted the investigation concerning her personal guilty knowledge of the kidnapping of the Lindbergh baby." The girl had been repeatedly questioned. According to the police, she was the only domestic who could not give a satisfactory account of her movements on the night of the crime. She was to have been questioned again to-day.
