Mr Augustin Courtauld was found alive and welL He is returning with Mr Watkins’ party. Mr Courtauld is a member of the British Arctic Route Expedition which undertook to blaze a trail in the Arctic Circle for the shortest an route between Canada and Great Bntain over the uncharted Greenland Plateau. He volunteered last year to man alone the expedition’s central station. A week ago fears were expressed for lus safetvi because or the relief P» L liavirig been lild up by severe weathei.
