TO MISSIONARY IN SAMOA. WORK OF OVER. A CENTURY AGO (United Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.45 a.m.)_ APIA, May 7. An impressive ceremony was held before nine this morning, m the presence of several thousand adherents of the ‘London Missionary 'Society, when there was unveiled on the Beach Parade, by a native pastor, Ales ana, a 12-foot-high granite stone to the pioneer missionary, the Rev. Joim Williams, who over 100 years ago introduced Christianity into Samoa. A hucre gathering was addressed by the Administrator Qlr■Hart), tie church president, Mr Bartlett, the Re\. Mi Perkins, the High Chief Tuimaleahifano, and native pastors. Man* la r wreaths were laid at the foot of the stone.
