INTOXICATED IN CAR
FINED AND DELICENSED. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, May 7. Cvril George Carey, a farmer, aged 53. ptemte l ! guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to being intoxicated in charge of a motor-car. According to the evidence, he crashed into a pillar ol a railway bridge on the Hutt Road at a speed of 25 miles an hour after driving all over the road. He was under the influence of liquor. The Magistrate took into account, in sentencing . him. the monetary loss of €l2O as a result of the accident. Carev was firud £lO and deprived of bis license for sixmonths.
