SUPPORT OF LABOUR PARTY. DEFINITE PACT PROVABLE. (United Press Association—Copyright). LONDON, March 19. Thirty-five members of the House of Commoris attended the Liberal emergency meeting. After Mr Lloyd George had issued a statement on the situation, the meeting decided to defer decision till Tuesday. It is understood that meanwhile an effort will he made to secure an arrangement by which the Liberals will undertake to support the Government for a definite term in carrying out a specific policy, including unemployment schemes. Mr Lloyd George’s scheme of united action is not available hut it is understood that -a definite pact with the Labour Party is involved. Meanwhile Sir Archibald Sinclair’s resignation of the position of Chief Whip has npt been accepted.
